Enjoy Rheine
. The hotel and guesthouse “Zum alten Brunnen” is ideal for business people and for all who know how to cherish a unique location. Our house is centrally located but nevertheless in a quiet surrounding in the center of Rheine. You can reach the city center in a matter of a few minutes. For business area “Industriegebiet Nord” is only five minutes by car.Enjoy the variety. The surroundings invite you to take a long walk along the river Ems, long cycling tours or an excursion to the near-by golf course. In the town hall which is only about a five minute walk away from the hotel you will find an interesting variety of shows, theatre and other events all year round. From the town hall it’s only a few steps to the main walking zone where you can indulge in shopping and seeing many different people. The museums and the famous zoo complete the range of interesting activities.

By car:
You travel via highway A30 coming from direction Amsterdam:
- Please take the exit Nr. 7 Rheine-Nord, at the traffic light go straight across B70 direction Rheine. Follow the road, pass the sign “Rheine”, keep straight.
- You have to pass six traffic lights (incl. pedestrian lights).
- At the seventh light turn left into Humboldstraße. After about 100 meters turn left again into Dreierwalder Straße.
- From there you will drive directly towards our hotel. There are sufficient hotel-owned parking places and garages available for your convenience.
You travel via highway A30 coming from direction Hannover/Osnabrück:
- Please take the exit Nr. 9 Rheine-Kanalhafen and go direction Rheine.
- As you enter the city limit of Rheine keep straight on the same street until you see a very tall church (the name is Basilika-Kirche).
- Right across from the church at the pedestrian light take a right into Antoniusstraße.
- Follow that street and after approx.. 300 meters you’ll see our hotel on the left. There are sufficient hotel-owned parking places and garages available for your convenience.
By train:
There are regular train connections to all major cities in all directions. The trains from Münster and Osnabrück stop in Rheine twice per hour. You can get your personal train connection via www.bahn.de. There is a Taxi stand right in front of the train station. As we are within walking distance why not take a stroll through the walking zone – the train station is only approximately 10 minutes away from our hotel.
